2007 Christmas Television Specials

Hi Folks, and welcome to the PopSavant list of the Christmas specials worth noting for 2006. Oh, they’re not all here – at this very moment on the Lifetime network, there’s probably a made-for-TV movie in which Meredith Baxter slowly remembers the true meaning of Christmas, inspired by her having to tend for an injured reindeer - but these are all the ones anyone’s likely to care about.
One thought: what happened to whacky TV Christmas specials? You know, the ones with a living room set, tree and roaring fire, and with every Love Boat grade star accidentally turning up at the door just as the cameras were rolling? That’s what we want, darn it… who wouldn’t want to see Soulja Boy coming next door to borrow a cup of sugar from Regis, or some similar schtick?
My choices are highlighted in green. (And is A Midnight Clear showing anytime this year? I certainly couldn’t find it.) Did I miss a good one that everyone should know about? Please let me know.
